@MaddieM4@raphus.social what about forebearers such as Solaris Zones or BSD Jails, how do they fit in?

@plzupgrademe@fedi.txw.ca Hah, I mentioned BSD Jails and OpenBSD's VM system in the main thread, but not Solaris Zones, which are really worth my time to study in terms of prior art! Frankly, Solaris has a lot of interesting ideas and accomplishments that we're lucky to see trickling into the rest of computing.
