Github has 2 main feeds. The sometimes hard to find "home feed" which is 90% noise and the notifications feed, which is 50% live conversations. Traffic is spiky (months with nothing, then boom, a lot of conversations) So I guess there is need for an alternate view. If you could mix it with your mastodon home feed, then you'd look at it every day. No one wants to look at githubs 2 feeds every day if 3/4 of the time they're empty.
