@kalviter@hol.ogra.ph whenever i see new web tools, its becoming really annoying trying to figure out if something is slop or not
a given website with That look is probably(???)**** slop, but could very well be people using the same handful of ui frameworks that all of these are trained off of anyway
that said, the quoted post reeeeks of slop tbh.....BUT EVEN THEN it doesnt even sound implausible that llms are changing the very ways people natural speak and write...which.....aaaaaaaaaaaaaa
* (i say probably given just how extremely widespread heavy llm use is in the software, and especially web, world these days, but maybe i should give benefit of the doubt)

@twd@hol.ogra.ph @kalviter@hol.ogra.ph Yeah, I have to curb my instinct to repost "oh cool thing!" these days because so often it's just more and more slop. And I'm not at all confident of my ability to tell (although generally a brief peruse of the slop peddler's feed shows them proudly admitting to their use of slop to make slop). It's just…auuuugh this fucking bubble needs to pop already
