@twd@hol.ogra.ph @kalviter@hol.ogra.ph Yeah, I have to curb my instinct to repost "oh cool thing!" these days because so often it's just more and more slop. And I'm not at all confident of my ability to tell (although generally a brief peruse of the slop peddler's feed shows them proudly admitting to their use of slop to make slop). It's just…auuuugh this fucking bubble needs to pop already

@Sharksonaplane@mastodon.sandwich.net @twd@hol.ogra.ph it's so sad bc I would like to have a page about cool things that people have done, art, music and yes - web toys! But more and more if I'm not the one making it, or I don't have an existing relationship with the person posting it, I can't be sure it isn't slop and then we end up with another "kalviter posting about generative machines again wow" feel like a one trick pony but the trick is screaming
