@Nikkileah@mendeddrum.org @maartje@blahaj.social My son worked as a guard / conductor on the Nottingham<>Liverpool route mostly. He came to hate it eventually (and moved into control rooms). He was dealing with people who mostly didn't want to be engaged with - unlike your current role. As you say, the lack of route variety became a problem for him. YMMV of course!
