The Government of Canada is collecting feedback about AI transparency and what, if any actions, should be taken.
The form is a bit long, but I think it's worth filling out. And you do not need to be a Canadian resident to participate.

@bk2204@mastodon.social I have to admit, I couldn't do it. I got half-way through, writing paragraphs about 'who owns generated images' and 'stop asking me about regulation, there is not regulation' and was so enraged I had to close it. And I have what you'd call a pretty nuanced view of it! "Who along the value chain should be responsible" give me a break. Every question is skewed about 30 degrees from the actual issues. The whole thing is written from the perspective of 'you might as well say something, it's not like you have a choice." Hopefully others have more patience than I do.
