I think the biggest hurdle for the post-american post-monoculture corporate internet is: monoculture- & analytics-fetish Decentralized alternatives (fediverse) are pushing back on this; great for individuals, not businesses. It also explains the EU's love/hate relationship with the silicon valley-stack.
