How is it we allow so many incompetent officials to run the critical infrastructures of our countries?!

@TrueNorthSpice@mastodon.world @markwyner@mas.to Friend had just finished installing a new access control system and fancy cctv system for an Australian Army base. Kind of something you want secure. Finished up, showed them how to use it. "Ok, we need to set up passwords, what do you want to use?" He spent the next hour rejecting everything they suggested. Every was so week or easily guessed. It started with "password"
