We should of course understand the reason Harris' actual failures have been ignored in favor of a Bizarro World version of her campaign which never existed, in which she moved so far left and defended trans people so stridently that Americans abandoned her in droves. We should understand why Democrats welcomed Trump back with smiles and handshakes and immediately threw their voters under the bus to accommodate his agenda.
