My position on AI coding has evolved a lot since Fable's release.
It’s an INCREDIBLY powerful tool for developers.
Like every developer tool, if used by shitty programmers (or shitty people), it can create shitty software that does shitty things.
But in good, conscientious hands, it’s shockingly effective at making great software even greater, accelerating the development of more great software, and lowering the bar for more people to be able to make great software.

@marcoarment@mastodon.social it's a multiplier, if you are good it makes you better (though maybe like 1.5x, not 10x or whatever nonsense some claim). If you suck, well it multiplies that too.
