You'd think one would be over it at some point of one's career. But here I am, having submitted a report last week and the editor writes back saying "thanks for a detailed and thoughtful report. exemplary actually. i find it very useful." -- and I am PREENING myself on this. Seriously, folks, never forget how happy a few words of real praise (there were some more details in there that show that the editor truly engaged) can make someone. #Academia #astrodon
