Former colleague called on short notice for an evening out in the local irish pub. He was with a group of friends and one of them was the worst, most disgusting mysogonistic asshole I've ever had the displeasure of listening to during his drunkenly slurred abusive language towards women. Voiced my displeasure a lot and after I returned home, I texted my friend that he doesn't need to bother inviting me if this particular asshole is present. Also told him that their group of friends has the responsibility to tell him to shut the fuck up. Side note: my colleague's girlfriend doesn't like the dude and called him "suspect". Women know these things.

  • @DrJLecter@beige.party Ugh, that sounds like a proper asshole. I honestly don't know how people like that even have friends. But I guess it's usually men giving them a pass and not seeing how problematic they are (and not believing women about them)... 🙄 Well done you for being vocal to your colleague, hope he'll act more responsibly next time!
