@Neybulot @DoomsdaysCW pleaseee y'all look into Reticulum. It's encryption, versitility, and functionality are far beyond that of Meshtastic or Meshcore. It uses the same encryption as Signal by default, it can interoperate with almost any comms protocol (LoRa, packet radio, wifi, bluetooth, QR codes, TCP/IP, laser, and so much more), it supports text, voice & video calls, as well as websites and networking, and it doesn't have the flood routing issues that Meshtastic does (Meshtastic grinds to a halt at a couple thousand nodes, Reticulum improves in performance the more nodes are added with no upper bound). Reticulum is just a far more fleshed out and mature project, and the creators are anarchists committed to open source and fully autonomous and anti-hierarchical comms networks. We're currently working on building a Reticulum mesh network for the Atlanta area out of our hackerspace, and undergoing the arduous project of getting people to replace Meshtastic with Reticulum on their nodes.
