#git #versioncontrol Git worktrees are a great concept once you get them, but the tooling and UX around them is not great Coding agents sometimes create multiple worktrees with same name, it’s hard to find where everything is on disk, when do I clean them up, etc And they have weird arbitrary constraints that make them hard to appreciate Like “one branch can be checked out only in one worktree at a time” Yeah I get it, but aren’t worktrees supposed to be independent. Wtf is this constraint
