To add depth… what IS home? I still consider myself a Londoner. So many discussions I had while there affirmed “once you’ve lived in London, you’re a Londoner forever”. But after leaving Sydney for the first time in 2017 I stopped being a Sydneysider. That might have contributed to my late 2019 “fuck it I’m going back to Victoria” thing. I’m always going to be Welsh, always going to be a Londoner. Will I always be a Melburnian and a Sydneysider? I’m not sure.
