Which directories should be excluded from backup? /var/cache/apt/archives? What else? #Debian #Linux
Edit: looking only for the low-hanging fruits, as "this is trivial to ignore, and won't generate effort on restore".

@AndiBarth@muenchen.social Unless you're really pressed for space on the backup medium, I'd take the simple approach and back up everything -- except swap files, if you are using swap files instead of a swap partition.
