I’m on a once a day pill (the generic of strattera, if you care) and strangely, if I make it a morning pill, I forget it almost every time, but as a just before bed routine, I seem to remember every single time. No idea what the difference is in my head. It’s just how it works for me, I guess?

No, because I CAN’T. Because I can only call it in TWO DAYS EARLY and the pharmacy now seems to take 5 DAYS TO FILL IT SO I’M OUT SEVERAL DAYS A MONTH.

If I have no meds to take, did I take them or did I not?

I did. I appreciate you looking out for us, Crow-friend 🐦⬛

I made similar med reminder memes like this every day for a whole year for my partner. I’m so happy to find one in the wild!

A group of friends who often take trips together often forgets to take meds because we’re in various places and out of our routine. So we’ve started a thing where, as soon as everyone’s awake, someone yells “MED CHECK!” and the 3/4 of us who have forgotten get up to speed.

I did, thanks Crow. I have an alarm set on my watch daily for it in the morning. I don’t let myself turn off the alarm until I go over to my desk and move my pills over to the “you need to take these” spot I have. I don’t allow myself to put the pills away until they’ve been taken. If I wake up and I’ve missed my “pill” alarm, my first act of the day is to move the pills to the “you need to take these” location. Even before I go to the bathroom after waking up. It’s a little system I’ve developed for myself. If I haven’t just woken up and my reminder alarm is in the past, and the pills are in their storage location, not in the “you need to take these” location, I assume that they’ve been taken, even if I don’t remember doing it (which happens). I should just get a pill box or doucet or whatever to track things but my little system hasn’t failed me yet. I dunno if my system will work for anyone else, but I hope my description helps someone else figure out a way to take their meds more consistently. If this way doesn’t work for you, I hope you find something that does.
