A hippocampus (or sea horse) riding on a wave on Stockwell Street in Glasgow. Created by Andy Scott, it was erected around 1992. Mythical aquatic equines was a subject Scott would return to later in his career, but in a much larger form, when he designed the 30 metre tall Kelpies on the Forth and Clyde Canal in Falkirk. #glasgow #sculpture #andyscott #publicart #stockwellstreet
