@BathysphereHat@mastodon.online Did they? I mean, I agree with the premise that they shouldn’t have to and that it’d be better for all of us if it was more of a random sampling. But I’m not sure that beauty actually plays more of a role now than it did. When I watch older movies or shows, the actors still look damn near perfect. They might not be my definition of beauty but they were somebody’s.
