Because the world’s consumption happens in each of our communities . Walkable communities that reintegrate into ecology can cut 90% of vehicular expense and resource use. The more your community can serve its own basic needs locally the more resilience it has, and the more it pulls the plug on the global economy. We ensure our safety and pull the plug on the problem.
