@greg_harvey@tooting.ch These figures for an EV are surprising, because I've experienced the opposite with my gas-powered car: I get more range on the highway than on smaller roads. Maybe on smaller roads there's more frequent deceleration, which leads to more energy recovery

@khan_gnot@tooting.ch Yup, it's something you have to get your head around when you go electric. Stop/start in an ICE car is energy wasting, but in an EV it's recuperation heaven. So it turns the metrics on their head. 😅
