@GeePawHill@mastodon.social @jasongorman@mstdn.business Prompts a thought. Dancing wise, I only ever got (barely) competent at Argentine Tango. It’s been a while, but I don’t remember practice being slowed down. It ran at normal speed, but it was *segmented*. You’d practice a new figure in normal conditions, just doing only that, doing it over and over, and getting feedback. FWIW

    @marick@mstdn.social @jasongorman@mstdn.business Slack doesn't necessarily mean "go slow" in any straightforward sense. Concentrating on one figure over and over again, even at normal time, means that overall production is slowed, even if practice isn't.
