@peterrenshaw@ioc.exchange I think any big company will have some level of chaos and non-shipped products. We had it at Juniper, I saw it second-hand at Cisco... The difference to me is that everyone I knew at Juniper who was working on a product that didn't ship cared deeply about the potential customers, right up until the plug was pulled (usually for totally predictable braindead business reasons). I don't see that at Amazon, Google, Facebook, etc. Granted, I'm on the outside looking in now - maybe those people exist there and are just overrun by [Business Idiots](https://www.wheresyoured.at/the-era-of-the-business-idiot/).
