@MostlyHarmless@thecanadian.social Exactly why the rich push "The American Dream!" by which they imply to the workers that they should always think they might be the rich: so that they never want to tax the rich, because they might be those rich one day. Nor restrict their power for the same reason. Finally they tell them that they should be allowed guns... not so the workers can rise up.... but so they (the rich) can employ their own private army of armed "security"
