Our day had a rough start. Lucky for us the VA clinic had some answers and we feel back on track. My husband is perkier than he has been in weeks. What a difference a day can make! Today I managed to get some weed eating done, and dug up six more concrete blocks. Eight miserable blocks to go. The blocks were the base for the posts that held up our old deck. Way heavier than they look. I will move more of them out of the way tomorrow. The deck builders don't come back until Monday. I also wrote fifty postcards to Nebraska voters. This photo is the view from the new deck. Homemade cookies and Cream ice cream is happening tomorrow. I promised Something to look forward to.
