@SeaFury@aus.social my mother had a Christmas Cactus that she inherited from her mother. It was enormous and I recall it being absolutely festooned with those pink blooms in mid-winter.
She told a story of it being frost-bitten on year and it completely regrew from root stock. When I was a boy it lived inside in a huge 30L terracotta planting pot.
I am not sure what became of it, but it was magnificent.
This photo has transported me through time. Thank you.
