wildlife and garden update: i decided to take down the bird feeder. despite best efforts, there have been two big fights that lead to lost fluff, feathers, and three limping birds. they're also pooping on all the cars. the mint seems established, but isn't ready to harvest yet. i think i'll split the two plants so they're not root-bound the sorrel is in rude health and i've been eating something from the garden every other day. gonna start freezing a lot of it for the winter
