Tech bros can't help using metaphors for evil and untrustworthy entities, like they didn't get the point of the stories they came from but just think those things sound cool and powerful. There is close to 100% chance if they were pushing portable AI assistant devices as the next big thing, one of them would be called MonkeyPaw. Probably the one from Meta.
