One of the smartest and most knowledgeable people I know, who is an MD, uses ChatGPT *constantly* in his daily life. He visited me a few months back & was asking it everything about our trip, about whatever topic we were talking about, using it to plan another trip... This guy loves learning and has spent decades constantly learning stuff on his own in many areas (he's also an app coder) and I think the LLM feels like a shortcut to even MOAR knowledge and information. Pretty sure this is what happened to Hank Green, who makes his living cranking out videos on subjects that require some reading and study. Moar videos = moar money so why wouldn't he succumb to the siren song of the LLM? It makes you feel instantly more informed.
