I am recruiting a Ph.D. student! The Ph.D. will explore generative user interfaces (GenUI): UIs that are partially or fully generated to fit needs, skills, circumstances, or preferences using generative artificial intelligence. We are concerned with how this can be done in a way so professional computer users maintain control, ownership, and autonomy.
