RE: https://mastodon.social/@256/117009940566278661 It wasn't until I was well into my late 20s and had been using OSX for a few years that I realized RAM Doubler was just a page file for classic Mac OS While classic MacOS did eventually gain built in virtual memory management (I think in 8.5?), this was a life saver in the 7.x days.
