@FIAR_Light@beige.party My vampire is actually a green heron (it's hard to tell in this light, but the streaks are red and the eye yellow). Really wonderful birds. There are juvenile night herons further along the river in this area, though. They are so fun and funny to watch! The epitome of gawky teens. 🥹 Here's that green heron in slightly better light. I just love how wacky and lovely they are.
