Wow! Caught a random episode of The Dick Van Dyke Show on TV. In flashbacks, Rob & Laura tell their son Ritchie stories about their wedding. After wacky antics, Rob ended up with an "upper respiratory infection" and everyone wore cloth #masks to avoid getting Rob's illness! 😷 So a mainstream TV show from the 1960s had a normalizing, albeit comedic, portrayal of masking up in the presence of a contagious illness.
