I think it has to do with the idea of a man being exclusively into other men allowing me to lower the guard, and then I can admire masculine bodies for what they are. there's this fucked up underlying feeling that if I find a guy pretty then I can't complain if he hits on me, like, was asking for it etc. but if he doesn't like girls, then I'm safe. (not implying that any of this is real, it's just like, how it feels)
