Hephaestus, greek god of craft & metallurgy, was born with short deformed leg and his mother Hera cast him out of Olympos. He grew up and became a master craftsman, so that Hera herself ended up asking for his work. He made her a splendid throne, but when she sat on it, she could not get up again. Hephaestus was summoned to free his mother, to which he replied he had no mother. Later he relented, and got Aphrodite (or Athena) as wife in exchange for his service. #MythologyMonday
