Maybe this is a sign that i should write Real Blog Posts. maybe the character limit is good to discourage me from writing on Sharkey, especially given that the web UI is terrible for the general public. (to be clear; i like the UI as a Fediverse interface. but for "advisory that will be shared beyond the fediverse", it is objectively bad how heavy and JavaScript-dependent it is. such information should definitely be on a static HTML page. i hate how web.archive.org doesn't know how to save my posts)
