Over the last three years I've steadily been building a CD collection from charity shops and car boots instead of streaming. My little CD player is connected up to stereo speakers and I put on an album and don't skip around. I just play it. 99% has been great, a few albums weren't but so far the experience has been great.

@biglesp@mastodon.social This is what we have been doing. I might already have the vinyl and cassette, but having the CD too makes it easy. Charity shops and Ebay are still really cheap for music that you own. I do digitise it all so that I can have the same music on any device and the cars.
