@samnabi@spore.social yes please! There used to be Saskatoon Berry bushes along River Rd. and Ottawa St. N. My Dad (he and my Mom were from Saskatchewan) used to go foraging there to get enough for a Saskatoon Berry Pie every year.

@LynnD@cosocial.ca Saskatoon berries should be optimally ripe right about now. There's mulberry trees (more like bushes) all along the Iron Horse trail, too. I've seen people out with baskets and pails collecting berries. Sadly, with a few people taking home pail-loads there isn't enough for everyone else to sample.
