@CelloMomOnCars@mastodon.social The corporation has a single purpose: dividends. The corporation has zero accountability to social development beyond paying taxes and following laws. The government has the purpose of social development. The government uses the taxes collected from (some) corporations to deliver social services. The corporations have done a great job fooling people into thinking that corp executives have any concern about social anything (a corporatism delusion). It's not their job or perogative.
