This weekend is going to be devoted to fixing up some stuff in the arcade machine. Molex crimping tool, a Noctua fan to replace the one in the machine that has a broken fin so it makes a slight bit less noise, redoing the control panel wiring, redoing the coin mech wiring, cable management. Essentially, I'm redoing most of the amateurish work I've done in the machine years ago when I didn't know what I was doing. Also, downloaded about 80 or so games from Steam that I need to add to my frontend with proper gameplay videos and banners. Going to be a good time. We'll get the actual test and service switches inside the machine to work properly with my PC build. Also looking forward to replacing the fake Nesica card reader panel with a replica that will be able to wirelessly charge a phone but that will come a bit later on. I tried to do this myself previously but the wirelss charging coil was simply too weak to make it through the panel to the phone itself, sadly. #arcade #retrogaming
