I have a super weird bug with my Linux server (vServer) and I might actually need some help because I don't understand. At all.
The server is running Ubuntu (with Ubuntu Pro), and thus it is automatically installing security patches at ~6 am. That's good.
I suppose when it updates netplan or smth, the connection to my VLAN (just another network device that is managed by netcup) doesn't work anymore. I set up my network using nmtui and inside /etc/netplan there are some files that are generated / "rendered" by NetworkManager.
Restarting the server or going into nmtui and disconnecting & reconnecting the connection makes the connection work again. I feel like this is some weird bug with nmtui / netplan / Ubuntu Pro.
All of that works on my other server (root server) with somewhat the same setup (Ubuntu Pro, nmtui, VLAN, ...) and I honestly don't know what I can do now...
Might someone want to help me with this? Probably someone who knows stuff about netplan and nmtui? o.o
