The nazi politician in parliament attacking trans people. The priest in church denouncing gay marriage. The christian political leader arguing against a ban on conversion torture. The imam in a mosque lambasting the LGBTQ community. The youths attacking LGBTQ people in our streets. The deranged lunatic driving his car into a pride event. The underlying ideology doesn't matter. Anti-LGBTQ rhetoric should be a severe crime punishable by jail time, whether it's coming from a religious leader, a politician, or anyone else.
