In theory, a hosting provider has a SLA to give our company a new host in less than an hour, if one fails.
(something with 384 GB of RAM etc.)
But I want to add another one to an existing cluster, they may need 7 to 10 business days.
It isn't a small provider, it is one of the bigger ones in Europe.
If that is a sign how the whole industry struggles just to satisfy normal demand because of "AI" datacentres...
It all feels completely bonkers at the moment.
