as a professional computer complainer, here's my litmus test for whether to take computer complainers seriously: are they complaining that the software could be better, or are they just complaining that the specific ways in which the software is broken is different from what they're used to?

like if you've got a better idea than systemd then great, but if your idea is "let's just go back to a bunch of shell scripts" then you're just failing to recognize why everyone and their mother ditched that idea for systemd in the first place

@sjolsen@tech.lgbt i am complaining telling that software can be better, but also they dont have to be developed Forever; there can be a point where its just. Done. but for most software, that ain't true yet
