@nonehitwonder@tenforward.social it’s proven enduring hard to stop that from happening.
I have come to believe it’s the single hardest problem in politics.
Organisations formed to get rid of them frequently end up being run by a different psychopath who ends up rich.
How do we actually stop it from recurring?

You can't magically will humanity into goodness; no matter how hard you try, money and power will always end up accretting and things will get bad. So instead, focus on building systems that fail well - that collapse easily and cleanly when they start being corrupted. Jefferson was right that you need a revolution every generation or two.
