@cmsdengl@mas.to The problem is there's an awful lot of financially motivated reasoning preventing people from getting good numbers about the state of the industry. Everybody knows Moore's Law is long dead but it can't be SEEN to be dead. This was from 2013: https://spectrum.ieee.org/the-status-of-moores-law-its-complicated A dozen years later, the current bubble is ritually beating a dead horse because there's still INVESTMENT to be had, if not working products delivered to customers in a cost-effective manner.
