@jectives@typo.social @typearture@typo.social I found the best way of learning is through making, and I am discovering new things about colrv1 font spec every day while making Colr Pak. And to support all features of colr v1 will be a big task for a design app.

@jectives@typo.social I think outside the tutorials for making them in @glyphs@typo.social (https://glyphsapp.com/learn/creating-a-microsoft-color-font), writeups by @googlefonts@typo.social (https://fonts.google.com/knowledge/introducing_type/introducing_color_fonts), an extensive post by @typetodaynews@bird.makeup (https://type.today/en/journal/colorfonts) or my little writeup about how variable color fonts work https://www.typearture.com/howdotheywork there isn't *that* much. For Variable font's it's much better of course, but I don't immediately have the best sources. For COLRv1 I think it's even more rare, and how to create them is totally non-existent.
