  FontBase just added a rankings page that shows the 200 most popular fonts based on what people have activated in the app 👀 https://fontba.se/tools/rankings I've always wondered if the "popular" or "trending" sections on marketplaces are accurate or if there's a thumb on the scale. Obviously this is only sampling FontBase users, but it's still cool to see the data, and it feels like it should be free of any funny business.

  Color fonts can now be customized in Affinity 3.2, and I tested way too many typefaces to list here, but I did add chapters so you can see what works and what doesn't. TL;DR COLRv0 without hardcoded SVG hex values work perfectly COLRv1 using CSS var() to color fonts also works perfectly COLRv1 using built-in coloring methods like PaintColrLayers does not work With any of these, if SVG hex values are set, they will override the CPAL options available in Affinity. **I AM NOT AN EXPER...
