#today the joy of a warm almond croissant. A Khmer person was telling me his breakfast choices. I told him about some American breakfasts. I miss the hashed browns and eggs and bacon at Black Bear Diner. Used to go every so often or more frequently. Can get some of the food here. Closest I’ve found is in Hanoi at S&L Diner by the old quarter. Owned by an American. Nice memories. I’ll have to show my wife a YouTube video of hashed browns. She got very good at fried potatoes with chili, mushrooms, onions and other stuff. Her omelettes win every time. She can cook so much more than Khmer food. Yeah I’m spoiled.
