Train of thought: - Hm, how can I take my goofy "Solaris the Hedgehog" idea, where the Sonic 2006 final boss reincarnates as a mischievous hedgehog cryptid-lesbian and also a goofy dipshit, and combine it with my interest in robot-girls? - Ah, of course! She's an android created by Doctor Eggman, who wanted to channel or contain the Flames of Disaster and/or Solaris! This limits her ability to use that power, thus explaining why she doesn't have plot-breaking levels of power and is merely on the level of other Sonic the Hedgehog player characters! Ooh, maybe it could be ambiguous whether she's actually Solaris/a robot who's channeling Solaris, or if she's just a total dumbass who merely thinks she's Solaris! - ... oh. Emphasizing "not actually Solaris, just a self-important dumbass" makes her potentially playable in RP places that forbid gods, doesn't it.
